Long Face? Add Bangs

What works for your long face type? Several looks work for you. Including these:

1. If you have straight hair, you can create more width with bangs. Bangs make your face appear shorter because they cover up a particularly large forehead. You can wear anything from blunt bangs to long, side-swept bangs.

2. Chin-length bobs and cuts are also ideal for you because they create the illusion of width. This cut on Katherine McPhee (she dyed her hair blonde! You'll see her with her trademark brown locks in this photo gallery) is very flattering on a long face.

3. Curls and waves also add width, but avoid short layers that add volume on top.

Avoid: Stay away from extremely long or short cuts. These elongate your face.
