| Red Dragon in the Bath | |
I have another product review that is going to appeal to many of you. It's a bar of soap called "Red Dragon"
and it's made by the SoapBoxUSA company specializing in Premium Hand-Crafted Soaps. I was sent several to
try and for this article, I want to talk about the Red Dragon... an strange name for a bar of soap.
It's a little unusual to look at... especially if you are expecting something mildly scented and pastel in color.
This isn't what you will find with "Red Dragon". It is a spicy swirl of red and cream that has been chopped into
blocks. And, if you are a
lover of cinnamon, you will love this soap. Be sure to check out the link below for a photo.
Lather is important to me and this was one of the first things that I looked for and yes, there was plenty of lather.
A rich creamy pink lather that was rather luxurious for such a fierce sounding soap. And I didn't expect this but
it made a great shave cream as well! And the price isn't ferocious at all. Just $1.29 an ounce.
And, I also want to
mention that this soap is long lasting. It doesn't melt away in the bath. My daughter, (co-tester) and I have both been
using it and we still have plenty left. You definitely get your moneys worth with this bar.
Did You Know:
That the origins of soap are not well documented but it appears that soap is known to be around as early
as 2000 BC? It was not used as we use it today, but for hair dressing or a wound medication!

An interesting article that dicusses the origins and some of the ingredients used. Apparently many of the ingredients
used today in natural soaps were being used as far back as 2500 BC. The article starts you off at the earliest known
soaps being produced and brings you up to the present.
