While we can't afford to buy every great new item that hits the shelves, there are lots that simply get lost in the shuffle. Each month I'm going to give you a "shopping list" of items that I think you should at least know about. Take the list with you and then check them out. One or two of them might be what you have been looking for, but didn't have a clue that it existed. It has happened to me on several occasions!
Touch Pad Liquid Makeup by Almay
I went out and purchased this product the minute I heard about it. It sounded so unique, I couldn't resist and I'm glad that I did. It is easy to apply and goes on seamlessly. I was a little apprehensive about using my fingers instead of a sponge to apply, but it was so easy. It covers up tiny flaws and no one will even know that you are wearing foundation. Available in SPF 12.
Capteur De Reves by Lise Watier
This fragrance was based on the myth of the native American dream catcher. You know what I'm talking about... the webbed hoop that you hang in the bedroom window to prevent the bad dreams from entering, but allowing the good ones to float on through. This scent comes in a dream catcher shaped bottle and filled with the prettiest shade of pink fragrance. I only wish I knew of a way to scent this article. I know that you would fall in love with it!
Celine Dion
Yes, she has joined the bandwagon and has released her own fragrance (in her own name.) Be sure to check out her fragrance while sampling Capteur De Reves. So what does it smell like? Think citrus florals with orange blossoms and amber thrown in for good measure. Sounds summery to me!
Double Extend by L'Oreal
This has to be the oddest mascara that has hit the market. There are two ends to use, a white fortifying end that makes your lashes like they have been flash frozen and then the other end that darkens and lengthens. And I do mean lengthens. If you have puny lashes, you won't have them for long!
Instant Bronze by Neutrogena
Its almost time to do something about that pale skin that we have been sporting all winter. With Instant Bronze, they aren't kidding. The minute you apply this lotion, you see results. No waiting for a couple of hours for your tan to appear.
Fairy Pretty by Maybelline
Now who can resist makeup with a name like this? And here are some of the great product names the company has come up with... Twinkle Pink, Pixie Winks, Garnet Garden and Pink Whisper. Someone in that company is having a ton of fun.
