Fall Closet Cleanup

Yes, it's time to take a look at what has accumulated in your closet. If it's anything like mine, it is definitely due for a cleanup. Lets start by sorting it out.

If you live in a cold climate, chances are you won't be wearing some of those summer dresses, tank tops or sandals. Take them out of your closet and put them by, or on the bed. First step done.

Vacuum out the closet floor. You will be amazed at how much dust can collect here.

If you have a spare room with an empty closet, take all of the above and move them here. If you don't have an extra closet handy, put up a rod in the basement and hang all of your out of season clothing on it. You would be amazed at how much space you will suddenly have in your working closet.

When spring arrives, all of your lighter clothing is in one place. It takes no time at all to move your spring wardrobe to your "working" closet and your winter items can be relocated them to your "out of season" closet or to the rod in the basement.

It feels so good to be organized!
