Shaving Mistakes You Could Be Making
And they are easy to make...
It seems that these days, it is getting harder and harder to get a close shave that lasts for more than a few days... and that is if you are lucky. However, all of the blame can't be pushed onto the razor. Some of fault is our own. Here are some that you might not be aware of.You might not be using the right kind of razor to do the job you want. There are razors on the market that offer three or more blades instead of one. They obviously are going to catch hairs that one blade might miss.
Try shaving the bikini area with a normal sized razor. If you have mastered it, you have an amazing amount of patience. For those of you who want the job done quickly and easily, there are now bikini sized razors on the market. You might as well use a razor that has been designed for the purpose intended.
It might seem like you are saving time, but if you are going to use anything but an electric razor, your skin has to be wet and lubricated. If not, you will dull the blades even faster than before and the blades could easily nic you. Don't want that.
A lot of women ask about razor bumps in the bikini area. Putting it simply, this area is more prone to irritation because of the sensitive skin and the fact that there is more bacteria located here. Using a soothing cream can help with this problem. If you are really prone to breakouts, try saving this area for an electric razor. You will find that while it is a little more awkward, the irritation is greatly diminished.
And here is probably the biggest mistake made of all time. The blades are dull! To get the closest shave, you should change it after every three shaves. Explains a lot doesn't it!
One last thing. If you are on holiday and you have just shaved your legs, don't go walking on a salt water beach. Salt water can sting more than you can imagine!
