If you have dark hair and would like to try your hand at a few subtle highlights, try a cup of merlot after you have shampoo. Pour over damp hair and then cover your hair with a plastic shower cap and let sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
*About Layers
While I love adding layers to long hair, there is a time when you should back off. If your hair is ultra curly, adding layers could make your style look bushy. Layers, as you can see, works for Diana.
*The Straighter Your Hair
Apparently, the straighter your hair, the more shine it can have. And surprisingly enough, the shine is more evident when there is a layer of oil covering the shaft. Curly and wavy hair may not look as healthy as long straight hair, but it is not necessarily so. It doesn't reflect the shine as well because the curl breaks up the smoothness required for shine.
*Let It Curl
The moist summer air can actually be a blessing if you have curl in your hair. If it is long, you might want to consider having your hair layered so that the curls have even more bounce. You won't have to do a thing but let summer do its thing... and the rusult, lots and lots of layered curls.
