Christmas Eve Bath Salts

This is probably the quickest bath salt recipe I have ever used. It takes mere seconds and I would highly advise making up a batch or two so that when you need a quick gift for a friend, you have something ready and waiting.

You will need:
3 cups of a combination of salts ranging in size from fine to course. They could include anything from fine table salt to sea salt. The difference in texture make these salts most attractive.

I often save and dry flowers from my garden to sprinkle into these salts for color. As I have tons of roses, their petals quite often find their way into my bath salts, but what you are growing in your garden would probably do just as well. As a last resort, if you don't have any dried flowers handy, you can often find a bag of dried petals in a health food store.

Scent your salts and petal combination with several drops of essential oil. Stir after a few drops to test the strength of the scent.
