Forty Lashes
I have received so many emails about magazine lashes, that I thought that I would share a secret. Just how do the models get lashes that long and lush?

Believe it or not, makeup artists don't simply coat them for a few seconds like we do. A lot of time is devoted to those lashes... a LOT of time. Would you believe that an hour is not uncommon? But, we can make sure that we get something close by using the applicator correctly.

Use the tip to darken/lengthen those lashes in the corner of the eye. They are often missed entirely.

Be sure to apply mascara onto the base of the lashes. This can look rather odd when you have light colored lashes. The lashes start out blond and then suddenly turn black!

Try different techniques while applying your mascara. I find that by twirling your mascara wand as you apply, lengthens and separates at the same time. Pay special attention to the outer lashes as well. They can make so much difference. Try it and you will see what I mean!
