An Ingenious Way to Exfoliate

Wednesday December 3, 2008
If you're like me and you don't like to spend gobs of time in the bathroom getting ready for bed, you'll like this shortcut. Once a week, combine your exfoliating and cleansing steps by mixing your exfoliator with your cleanser. Rub the mixture in circular motions onto your skin, rinse off with a warm washcloth and go to bed.

This is simple tip — works beautifuly for EXFOLIATING…
I leave a bottle of OLIVE OIL & FINE TABLE SALT in my bathroom. I apply OLIVE OIL generously, adding a PINCH OF SALT & gently exfoliate elbows, legs and even my face!

I prefer plain yogurt with a strawberry or two mashed in it. If my skin is feeling dry I add a little honey. I am 53 and get many compliments on my skin. If I had know about and used sunscreen when younger who knows how good it would look today.

Table salt is a bit gritty and can scratch your skin if you effectively exfoliate by rubbing gently in circular motion for AT LEAST a full 60 seconds, better even a bit longer. I recommend using an exfoliant with rounded polishing ingredient - like jojoba.
