Fall's Hottest Beauty Trends

With Labor Day officially over, it's time to start thinking about the cooler weather ahead (I know, I know, groan, groan, hiss). Here are some of the hotter trends I'm noticing for fall, some which I love, some which are a bit extreme (hello Sienna!):

1. Dark lips are back, but this time in unique, punchy colors of reds, oranges, pinks and burgundies. Pair a dark lip with a pale, almost makeup-free face. Get the scoop on the right, and wrong, ways to wear red lipstick.
2. Thick eyebrows. Super skinny brows are "out" and full ones are "in" (witness the horrifying brows on Sienna Miller pictured left, in a look not unlike her cover shot for this month's cover of "Vogue," in their "Biggest Issue Ever"). This look isn't for everyone, but you can achieve it without going to extremes with a simple eyebrow pencil. Find out how in this article.
3. Blunt bangs. I am still a very, very big fan of the bang. Check out your options in these galleries.
4. Dark nails, but not black. Burgundy and deep red nail colors are hot for fall.
5. Romantic curls. Beachy waves are oh-so-summer. The 50s wave is big (think Lana Turner).
