Hi, I'm Kaytie Sproul, here for, and today I'm going to show you how to make an oatmeal and yogurt face mask. This is a great mask for those of us who would like to tighten our pores while exfoliating and smoothing our skin.

Ingredients for the Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask

So grab some oatmeal, plain yogurt, honey, and a mixing bowl and let's get started. To make this mask, you will need 1 tbsp. of finely ground oatmeal, 1 tbsp. of organic yogurt with live, active cultures, and a few drops of honey.

Make the Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask

Start by combining the oatmeal and yogurt together in your mixing bowl. Next, pour a few drops of honey onto a heated spoon and add to the oatmeal and yogurt mixture. As soon as all of the ingredients are adequately combined, it's time to apply our mask.

Apply the Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask

Before applying the mask, you'll want to wash your face to remove any makeup or debris. Next, apply an even layer of the mask to your face and allow to set for ten minutes. To remove the mask, rinse your face with several splashes of warm water and use a wash cloth to take off any remaining sections of the mask. The lactic acid in the yogurt, along with the grain of the oatmeal, has served to exfoliate your skin.

After you pat your face dry with a towel, you can enhance the smooth softness of your skin by applying a light moisturizer. Using natural ingredients in your skin care regimen is a great way to remedy the most common of issues.
