My Top 5 DIY Masks
- Ok, so I'm only 13 but I have acne and have had it since I was only 10/11 years old! I have been using masks for a long time now, and I'm going to be honest with you it's not a 100% cure for acne/pimples but it really does help and leaves your skin feeling so smooth! My top 10 facial masks (DIY) -Egg whites + Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is a good mask for oily skin but anyone can use it! (ONCE A WEEK ONLY) (Mix together and leave on your face for 20 minutes) -Cocoa + Honey Mask This is a smoothing hydrating mask! (Mix honey, hot chocolate/cocoa and milk or water and apply on face. Leave for 25 min) -Natural Yogurt + Oatmeal This is great for combination skin and leaves your skin hydrated and baby bottom smooth! (Mix together and leave on for 20-30 minutes) -Banana + Natural Yogurt Mask This is probably better for dry skin. (Mash up 1 banana and add natural yogurt. Leave on face for 15-20 minutes) -Strawberry mask Combination skin! (Mash up strawberrys and massage onto skin)

olive oil
- i have been using olive oil as a cleanser for my face for a few months. i did find this method on-line and added castor oil (75% olive oil to 25% castor oil). my skin is a combination of dry and oily. this has worked wonderful and my skin is usually soft - no dry patches and not as oily as before. it cleans off makeup really well and i'm not breaking out. i do not do any other scrubs or cleansers. it's simple, not expensive and works well.

An Old Asian Facial Method
- Our family (passed from my mom) use an old Asian skin care method using Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera straight from the plant. Peel it, put in bowl, mash it and put it on skin. It does wonders to smooth wrinkles.

Sweet Java Detoxify Moisturize Exfoliate
- Mix equal parts espresso (ground coffee) and honey. spread over face and leave on for 15 minutes, once a week. you won't believe how soft, bright and clean your skin feels! the honey is a natural moisturizer, there are detoxifying/antioxidant properties in the coffee and the grounds exfoliate. tastes great, too;) have used regular grind coffee, as well, and had the same results. i saw it on Dr. Oz and the dermatologists on the show gave it their seal of approval. i have sensitive, dry and combo skin and it is perfect for all areas. i absolutely love it! Mixed 1 Tbl of each into a small container with sealing lid and it's ready for my weekly scrub/mask.
