Pixie hair is becoming more and more popular as more celebrities get their hair cut into this boyish-yet-still-feminine-style.

“The softness of a sweeping side bang and the wispy hair in front of the ear work together to frame the eyes,” says stylist Rodney Cutler in Glamour magazine.

So what does Michelle Williams think about short hair? She said in Elle UK she's "grown into it," saying, "I feel like myself with short hair. And it's been a really long time since I had long hair, five years. Of course, the only people who like it are gay men and my girlfriends. Straight men across the board are not into this hair! I cut it for the one straight man who has ever liked short hair and I wear it in memorial of somebody who really loved it."

The pixie may seem like a wash-and-go type of haircut, and it is. However, you will need trims every five to six weeks. This cut is also best for women without kinky, curly hair, says Cutler.
