For years I've been patting myself on the back for having a dad with a full head of hair. My thinking was that my sons (if I had them) would inherit my good genes. Trust me, there are plenty of bad genes in my family (Cancer! Heart disease! Juvenile diabetes! Alzheimers!) so I was banking on the full head of hair thing. But turns out the whole baldness-comes-from-the-mother's-side idea is just a myth.
