Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask

This face mask is suitable for all skin types and is super simple to prepare. It will cleanse and rejuvenate your skin.

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp oatmeal, finely ground
  • 1 tbsp live, organic yogurt (skip the flavored stuff)
  • A few drops of honey

Preparation:

Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together.

Warm a few drop of honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.

Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.

Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water. Follow with a warm washcloth.

Apply moisturizer.

Rather than mixing in a bowl and having to wash the bowl, mix in your hand . . . . spoonful of yogurt, spoonful of ground oatmeal, squirt of honey. Mix together between your two palms and spread on face and neck! I ground up about 1 cup of oatmeal in my small food processor (very fine --- I had grind it some more after I used it the first time ;-D) and keep it in a decorative jelly jar in my bathroom. I have a small measuring spoon in it. I don't measure when I use it, but it makes it easier to scoop out into my hand then trying to dump some into my hand and making a mess (don't ask me how I know this!)
