Now here is a lady after my own heart. Deborah Barth firmly believes that pampering herself is a very important part of her life. And one way she does it is with the cosmetics she chooses. Here's what she has to say about the BeautiControl cosmetic line.

I understand that you are involved with BeautiContol products. How did this come about?

After using a very expensive Skin Care Line for many years, I wanted to stop the "money madness" and find a product line that would work as well, cost less, and also have a "personal-service touch" that a consultant could give me.

How long have you been working for the company?

I signed up last year with BeautiControl primarily to take advantage of the great discounts and to give the products a "test-drive". I am very particular about what I use on my skin and the results I expect. I used the Skinlogics Platinum Skin Care products for three months, started seeing great results in less that two weeks, loved them after just a month and started promoting the products after three months of my initial use.

What impresses you the most about their products?

What makes them different from other product lines? The ingredients such as Squalane ( an emollient, which lubricates the skin to be softer and smoother. It is naturally found in the skin and helps to improve firmness and elasticity),Soy Protein, Milk Protein, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernal Extract, and so much more, really impresses me. Plus the affordable price for products of this quality.

What makes you successful?

I use the skin care products, as well as the spa products, and I know from personal experience just how great these products are. I think that my sincerity, pride, and excitement is felt by people with whom I am speaking. Bottom line, if you know your product, believe in your product, and believe in yourself, you will be successful.

Is this basically a skin care company or do they offer cosmetics too?

Oh no, we carry a men's line of products which includes a men's cologne, as well as cologne for women, beauty supplements, and over this last year, have included a fabulous spa line. In fact, spa parties are the hottest growing trend in direct sales.

What is your favorite product and why?

That's a tough one. Using the Platinum Line includes different products; the cleanser, toner, moisterizer, Regeneration Serum, and Cell Block-C which all work dramatically in relationship with one another, I cannot honestly name just one product.

What are some of the latest products that we should know about?

One of the latest spa products that my clients love is the "Save Your Sole" pedicure line which includes the foot salve, foot spray, foot-leg scrub (warms up on your as you are scrubbing the dead skin away), and the warm seas shaving lotion which goes on you skin like a cream and also warms up as you put it on. Your legs feel like satin afterwards and I am not exaggerating, lol.
