Are all puffs created equal? If not, what should you look for in a good quality puff?

Be sure to check to see if the powder puff you are about to by has been stitched together instead of glued. They should be easily washable. Glued powder puffs will obviously fall apart.

I made the mistake of washing a puff that I had purchased on impulse and it literally came apart in my fingers with the first washing attempt. When I checked with the cosmetic company, they told me that they were made to be thrown away after a few uses. Nice try!
