Makeup for Evil Beauty
Quick Tip
Evil Beauty has a "charm" all of its own and is perfect when coupled with an equally evil looking costume. Lets get started making you look evil... but gorgeous!Foundation: Extremely pale. We want you to look as if you have never stepped out into the sunlight.
Concealer: If you have any areas that need concealing, I would suggest using a foundation brush and then stippling the concealer into place. It seems to give a much better coverage, but is seldom noticeable.
Shading: Work a touch of blue and purple shadow worked into areas beneath the cheekbones. Be sure not to go overboard with these colors. While applying... think delicate! We want you to look evil, but we are after the gorgeous side of evil... not the ugly. Makeup kits appearing at Halloween should provide you with the colors you need.
Eye Liner: Here is where you get to play with your makeup. While everything else is rather delicate, the liner is strong. If you can manage liquid liner, that would be my first choice. Follow up with a lengthening mascara
Eye Brows: Brows need to be perfect. If you haven't checked them in a while, now is the time. If you need help, check to see if there is a Brow Clinic in your area. Have them professionally groomed and then all you have to do is take care of the maintenance.
Eye Shadow: Go for the smoky eye! If you don't know how to create a smoky eye, use the search button at the top of the page and type in "smoky eye". That should bring up the directions.
Blush: Rouge was once the only product used for adding color to the cheeks and it usually came in a deep red color. A touch of *scarlet is what you want to use for your "evil" look. We are looking for hot cheeks... so blend well.
Lipstick: To match the cheeks, I would choose a deep red for the lips and perhaps even work a little *blue into the color to deepen the color even more.
*You should be able to find this color in Halloween makeup kits especially around the Halloween season.
