Teen Costume - Flirtatious Bunny
Quick Tip
Everyone you know is dressing up as someone or something evil. Not you! This year, you have something completely different in mind. This costume comes complete with a white velvet halter jumpsuit with maribou trim, tail, gloves and ear headband. Can you imagine yourself in this costume? This costume can be purchased in its entirety, or you can brainstorm for your own version of a "Alluring Bunny". How do you do that? Simple... start with a piece of paper and then write down everything that you think of that you could use to create your very own "Alluring Bunny". What comes to mind?
So what about the makeup? Here's what I have come up with for this costume.
Makeup for the Devil in You
Foundation: Look for a foundation that has a little sparkle already added, or add a pinch of cosmetic grate glitter to the foundation that you regularly use.Concealer: If you need concealer, apply whatever is necessary with the aid of a foundation brush.
Shading: Not needed, but if you want to emphasize your cheekbones, a little color below will help give them a little boost.
Eye Liner: Line the ENTIRE eye with black liner and then smudge for a smoky effect. This smudging should be very evident below the eye. While a freshly sharpened pencil is always easier to work with, be careful while lining. Mistakes happen and they can hurt.
Eye Brows: You obviously won't want anyone in the room with better brows than you, so do whatever maintenance is necessary. Remember, often they will need only snipping of long hairs. Plucking isn't always necessary.
Eye Shadow: I would suggest a wash of a bluish white powder shadow. Be sure to work it into the corners so that the area glows. Now work in a purple-blue shade from crease to brow. You shouldn't see where the color starts or where it finishes, so be sure to blend well. Add a nice thick coat of mascara, but no clumps.
Blush: I would start with spots of pale pink cream and then dust a similar powder shade over the cream. This should give you the lasting powder that you will need. If the pale shade is too light for you, trade up a shade or two. All emphasis should be on the eyes, so we don't want the cheeks grabbing all the attention. The trick is to look like a very healthy but ageless looking character... who would ever come up with that combination?
Lipstick: While you might expect me to suggest a siren red lip color, I'm going to surprise you and say no. To compliment your costume, I am going to suggest a pale pink with lots of shine. Remember... all emphasis on the eyes.
