Apparently, Miley has wanted to go short for a long time. When she was 15, she was interviewed on ABC News and pointed to a photo of model Twiggy with pixie hair, stating in the interview, "One day I'm gonna cut my hair like that. I know I am. I know I will one day."
It's not exactly a pixie haircut, though. What Cyrus is sporting is a pompadour, also known as a "Quiff." This stylish, edgy cut has been seen on many celebs, including the singers Pink and Rihanna.
