Golden Globes 2009: Best and Worst Red Carpet

This year, the bad news on the red carpet was not in the fashion, but rather in the hair and makeup. Here, I run down whose hair and makeup looked hot and who did not on this year's Golden Globes red carpet.

First on the list is double winner Kate Winslet. Kate's beauty lies in the contrasts here: the blonde highlights and red lips set off perfectly by a smooth, slightly golden skin which appears it did not come from an LA Spray Tan Professional. This is all good because sometimes Winslet can look a bit too British, you know, pink and pasty.

Winslet's fresh take on the French twist is also gorgeous. But you can't really see it here.
