There are lots of ways to thicken the brow, but unfortunately, it either looks messy or drawn on. The trick is to go as slowly as possible. Drawing a continuous line looks just like what it is... a long line and unless you are trying to copy the look from the twenties, it is not the way to go. Actually, I would advise against using a pencil unless you are really stuck for an alternative. Instead, brush the brows up and then outward across the arch. Set the hairs with a product that will keep them in place and then add touches of color in short strokes. I have been using the brow kit from Benefit and it does a great job. The kit even comes with a tiny pair of tweezers. Brows look great all day long.

Where exactly should you thicken the brow? This is usually at the inner corners of the brow and where your brows are naturally thick, but have been thinned due to over-plucking. The latest trends will also come into play, so watch the current beauty magazines.
