Oscars Red Carpet 2009

See what I mean about the Sophia Loren hair? This is it! Right here! Melissa Leo stole Sophia's patented red carpet hairstyle. At least Sophia got the hair right because the "Gone With the Wind" dress was a little too frilly and the choker made me wonder if they had her working a saloon after-Oscars party.

Meryl, on the other hand, looked fantastic, though you can't really tell here. She looks sallow next to the orange Loren (must be careful when choosing your spray tan!). But Streep's simple hair and makeup were sublime and I particularly loved her hair from the side and behind. Gorgeous.
