During this decade, hippy beauty ruled. That meant makeup that was as natural looking as possible and long, silky hair. And since we didn't have straightening irons in those days, we took advantage of the old fashioned kind. Yes, we ironed our hair with the family iron. I hate to think of the scorched hair of that decade.
