Night Time Glamor

C hristmas parties, not to mention the coming New Years Eve parties this year call for a special look, so I went to the contest section of the site and as part of the entry, I asked how you would change your makeup for night time glamor. Here is what a few of you had to say.

• I wash it off completely, reapply to use different colors for night time. Delores
• Deeper, richer colors... and maybe some sparkle and shine. Mariah
• Add more color and "cat's eye" shape. Angelica
• Darken the eye color and/or lip color... add eye liner. Michelle
• I apply eye liner on my lower lids, darken eye shadow, and add gloss over my lipstick. Melinda
• I add a bit of shimmer in my eye makeup and lip color. Natalie
• For night time glamor, my makeup becomes more dramatic. For my skin I use just a tad darker foundation over my face and lips. Then I dot my concealer on my blemishes and dark shadows. I give myself arched extended eyebrows by filling in my natural brows with an eyebrow pencil, extending towards the temple. I use a brow pencil one or two shades lighter than my natural brow color. I add some eye liner. I always add a eye shadow in a soft blue and shimmery white on the lids, just above the eye liner and under the arch of the brow. For added glamor I curl my lashes and apply two coats of mascara allowing the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. To create sensual , gleaming lips. I use nude lip liner to define my lips and then fill in with silver lipstick. I dust my cheeks in a mauve for a spell binding effect. For the finishing touch, I apply a silver nail enamel. Isabelle

• I make my eyes more intense and I use a deeper color lipstick. Donna
• Depending upon what I wish to emphasis... eyes or lips go darker or brighter and more dramatic.
