Trends For September
Every season brings something new and for autumn, we find lots of changes in makeup. Here's what has just arrived or is just around the corner.
- Makeup this fall is subtle. According to "Harpers", the look has "calmed down and grown up."
- What's new in lipstick? I'm seeing a trend toward scarlet lip color from one source but another source is pointing toward
beiges for day and burgundies and purples for night. And oh yes, another source says that greens are going to be hot this fall,
with just a touch of gold. The gold will also be showing up in the beiges too.
And yet another source favors hot chilli colors. So, it's okay to pick your favorite and still be in style.
- The spiky look is back for the lashes but definitely no clumps or clogged lashes please. Comb the lashes before you step
out of the house.
- Eye Liner... the latest trend is to add a little upward curve to the line. Just a tiny one and nothing dramatic. And for the time
being, this is your evening look.
- Wavy Hair Rules! Apparently wavy hair is not only in, but all of those beauties with long straight hair will be trying to copy
you, says New York stylist, John Barrett.
- Do you suffer from PMS? One of the newest trends that I have spotted, is to head to your chiropractor a week before
your period. Apparently two or three sessions can make all the difference in the world, women are saying.
- There is a 1940's revival going on. Everything is very lady like... polished and refined. Perfumes are even a little heavier and dabbing it behind your knees is the thing to do.
