Picks For September
Nothing annoys me more than buying a product that doesn't work. It's a huge waste of money and although I can take it back, that wastes my time too! So, each month we will bring you an assortment of beauty products that either I have personally tried or a reader has tried and wants you to know about. Now doesn't that make sense. Here's what we have for you this month.
- Egg Yolk Soak... A great moisturizing foam bath that I found in Boots Drugstore in England. It's part of the "Natural Collection". Smells great and looks even better. The contents as you might expect separate into one half that looks just like an egg yolk mixture and the other half looks just like the white of the egg. Shake the bottle and pour about a capful into the bath. They also have a great web site that you might want to check out complete with a beauty department and a on-line magazine.Boots
- Orange Body Cream ... A wonderful mixture of orange gel and cream in layers that you dip your fingers into and then slather on. Contains orange oil, cocoa butter, and peach kernel to help soothe and moisturize your skin. Of all the scents in this collection, the orange was my favorite. Smells heavenly. Again, part of the"Natural Collection" from Boots in England.
- YSL Burgundy mascara. What is great about this mascara is that the color will suit everyone and packs quite a punch. Forget those old "colored" mascaras of the a few years ago. You can wear this color and you'll love what it does for your eyes.
- Esteé Lauder "Idealist" Skin Refinisher. Takes care of pores, fine lines, flakiness and redness. If you want to see a prettier complexion, check out this product. You will hardly recognize your own skin.
- Next month, Prada launches a brand new line... Prada Personal Care. It consists of a unisex line of 27 products, divided up into 7 color coded categories. What I especially like about this new line, is that they are packaged in single use portions which means you get a fresh product every single time. You will appreciate this when you pack for your next business trip or holiday. You can take just what you need instead of juggling a multitude of bottles.
- Coming soon... The Dinair Airbrush
Soon, you will be able to apply your foundation exactly the same way it is applied to the actresses on "Friends". The retail version is due out on the market very soon. - L'Oreal Feather Lash
Okay ladies, if you want to look as if you have long lashes naturally, this is the mascara for you. Your lashes stay soft, but grow longer and longer. No clumps to give you away. At $13.95, this is one great mascara. Contains Vitamin E and glycerin. -
