I accidently shaved all of my eyebrows off and I am really worried that they will never grow back.

Hi Jen,
Yes, they will grow back. It will take a while, but they will come back. It could have been worse. When you pluck too many, they have a habit of not growing back.

Hi,
I have a lot of red bumps on my legs and thighs. l'm guessing razor bumps, buy I stopped shaving for a month and used hair removal cremes but still the bumps did not go away. They don't itch or irritate me, it's just ugly. I've seen advertisements for razor bump lotion and wondered if you knew anything about them and if they work. Or is there a product you know about or a suggestions to get rid of them. I have even had my body scrubbed, but they are still there. Help!!

Hi Cheri,
Some people swear by them. I hear Tend Skin is pretty popular. You might want to give that a try. You have tried a scrub, so it's not clogged pores. The only other thing I can think of is that the soap you are using is not mild enough. Even the hair removal creams might be causing irritation. If all else fails, ask your doctor. A perscription cream might clear it up within days.

I was just wondering, do color contacts look fake or bad on anyone? I wanted to try them because my eyes are really boring.

Hi Sara,
I doubt that your eyes are boring. Sounds to me as if they just need a little makeup. You would be amazed at how different they can look with with just a little eyeliner and some shading around the brow bone. And then there is mascara. I read somewhere that the lashes you see in magazines takes 30 minutes to achieve. No wonder ours don't come close!

But, colored contacts do look pretty awesome. I have never tried them simply because I don't think I could stand having something in my eyes, but I would love to play around with different colors. But remember, your friends know what color your eyes are, so you aren't going to fool them.

** I've gone mad and shaved all of my bikini area and the rest but I keep getting the red bumps, what is the best product to use that will keep it all smooth and clear as if it had been all waxed?

Hi Jen,
Unless you get the area waxed, you aren't going to have the same results. My best advice is to forget the razor and try using an electric razor. No bumps for me so far! Be sure to keep the blade sharp if you want a close shave.

**I am desperate to regrow some eyebrows. I overplucked them a couple years ago and have struggled to get them back! Makeup just doesn't look natural! I have tried all kinds of makeup products. Is there anything to actually make them grow back?

Hi Sarah,
I'm afraid that I have bad news for you. As far as I know, there isn't anything on the market that will grow back eyebrows. My best advice is to find a good quality eyebrow pencil AND an eyebrow brush. Fill in the sparse areas with the pencil and then go over the area with the brush. That should take care of the line left by the pencil. The trick is to blend and then blend some more.

The first thing that comes to mind is having it waxed. It's fast and your back should be hair free for quite some time.

Hi Brit,
From everything I have heard, going to the doctor is the best route. If what he is giving you isn't working, tell him that you want something else. It sounds as if the over the counter products aren't going to work. So, ask to try something else. Something should work. My best friend had really bad skin and that's the only way she was able to clear up her skin.

Black circles are a major pain but there are lots of reasons. Here are a few that you can consider. One just might be the culpret.

• stress
• smoking
• poor diet
• genetics

There are some creams on the market that contain Vitamin K. You might want to check them out.

It is likely that I'm about to have my eye brows shaved off (don't ask why). Im just enquiring to see if it is true that they do grow back twice as bushy, or is it possible they wont grow back at all? I would be grateful if you could please let me know. If they do grow back, how long it takes. Marcy

Okay, I won't ask why, but I think I know why! First of all, no they won't grow back bushier than they were originally and I am pretty sure that they will grow back. The problems start when you start plucking. That is the only time when they can become stubborn and refuse to grow back. Now for how long it takes... that could be some time. I did a little checking and one article suggested six months for full regrowth.

Have you tried Ambesol yet? It's a gel that is used on baby's gums to numb them. Works for brows too.

**I am a 18 year old girl. I am extremely hairy in the bikini area and the best hair removal is shaving. About two months ago I started shaving it all. At first it was awkward and itchy. Now I am used to it. About half my friends ahave it all. Is this normal ? What is the best shaving technique. Farida

Hi Farida,
The choice is yours. The main problems that arise is the red bumps that occur. I have had lots of luck using an electric razor instead of a blade. A lot less irritation. But be sure to keep the blade sharp. That makes a huge difference.

My brown eyes are just plain boring. Any suggestions on how to make them dazzle?

Hi Anna,
I too have brown eyes and they are far from boring! I have the most luck playing around with colored eyeliners. Green (btw) can really change the shade of brown. I also mix colors for my liners. Try mixing in a bit of blue with a little brown and create a brand new color. I also tend to use pots of solid liner. You dip a wet brush into the color and then apply. It is much easier to control the line.

I haven't the time to wear makeup every day, but it seems that all of my girlfriends do? They can't believe that I don't. Is there something wrong with me? What are your thoughts on this?

Of course there is nothing wrong with you. It's your choice to make. Be an individual! I certainly don't wear makeup every day. There are days when I just haven't the time. My main concern is that I have taken care of my skin before going out the door. It's almost softball season where I live and my main concern is not forgetting the sun block.
