The only thing that I can suggest to combat these hormones is to drink lots of water, don't eat anything that has caused you problems in the past. This is supposed to last for about 3 months while the oil glands are over active. Read everything you can on oily skin. These tips will come in really handy right now. Stress is a big culpret too, so try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
You might also experience a condition called the "mask of pregnancy" It comes in the form of darkened skin across the cheeks, nose or forehead. It's the hormones at work again. Sun exposure can make this condition worse, so be sure to wear a sunscreen.
As for your hair, it seems that there is a depletion in the protein content of your hair. As a result, it is drier and more brittle. You can combat this by using an intensive conditioning treatment.
