Wrap Yourself in a Pareo

On a recent trip to Martinique, I found the greatest item being sold EVERYWHERE and for good reason. You don't need to wear much else. It consists of a piece of material (sheer or heavier weight) that you can wrap around yourself and tie in place to create a dress or fold it in half and tie it around your waist as a skirt. They were even selling booklets down there to show you all the different ways to tie them for different looks. In the May 2000 issue of Seventeen, there is an article that is similiar to the pareo and they use scarves of different sizes to create a similiar look. And apparently, you don't have to go all the way to the Carribbean to buy them. They are available in most department stores according to the article.
