Purchase a large photo album with the plastic covered pages and then fill it with soothing pictures you cut out of magazines and sayings that mean something to you. Whenever you feel a need, get out the book and thumb through it.

At first glance, you are going to think that this is a ridiculous suggestion, but I have one of these books that I use often. And, I add to it regularly. Five or ten minutes with my book and I feel so much more relaxed. It is amazing what your mind can do. You simply have to give it a chance.

What kind of pictures should you look for?

That's the trick of this suggestion. You choose photos or clippings that you can lose yourself in. I love pictures of English gardens. Flowers for some reason, calm me down. If you think about it for a few moments, you will know what sort of pictures will work for you. Now grab a pair of scissors and start clipping.
