Check to see that the salon is clean, then check out the stylists. What impression do they give you. I always look at the styles and condition of the stylist's hair. Does it seem that they know what they are doing? Take a peek at the magazines? Are they up-to-date? Rely on your first impression of the salon. It is usually right.
