If you don't keep the blow dryer moving every few seconds, you can damage the cuticle and there goes your shine.
As with any hairstyling tool, moderation is the key. Remember that the ends of your hair are the oldest and most prone to split ends and breakage. Whenever possible, allow your hair to air dry.
