Question: "Can your monitor cause skin rashes?"
Answer: "Checking the literature and my friendly neighborhood dermatologist, can't find any evidence that it does. Sometimes there may be a wax or paint on the desk surface that prolonged contact with can make a rash. A common problem is that a lot of dust accumulates in the back of the computer. There may be mold and this can aggravate allergies. Try getting someone to do the dusting and put a plastic cover where your hand comes in contact with the desk."
