This picture of me was taken in Oct. 2002 (last year) I was 57... This is how I look now... blonde hair, worn up most all the time, with "tendrils pulled out, and hoop earrings.

I started bleaching my hair when I got out of school in 1964...did it the cheap way... straight hydrogen peroxide, put on my hair with cotton balls, and then sitting in the sun. Talk about fried hair!) haha, but as the years went on, and to this day, I guess in the 38 years that I have been married, I may have set foot in a beauty shop 8 times. I have always put in my own perms, cut my own hair with a razor blade, (don't like the blunt cut with scissors), do my own coloring, my own bleaching, (allover) and my own frosting. This is after bravely/stupidly? letting my husband pull it thru the frosting cap. He is left handed and went after my hair with the crochet needle like he was digging for gold, straight down instead of in at an angle and pulling hair out through the holes. What he pulled through those holes was enough to put in ponytails! :)
