While these are labeled "cuticle nippers", the packaging also mentions that they are great for trimming hangnails. I don't know about you, but I find hangnails almost as painful as paper cuts, so I am really pleased to have these handy. It seems that as much as I moisturize my hands during the winter, it's never enough and I am plagued with a hangnail or two. These little nippers should put an end to that quickly.
