This week we are going to discuss trimming your hair. I know that cutting your hair is the last thing you want to do when you are trying to grow it out, but it is very important to get the ends trimmed every 6 weeks or so. Okay, now for the reason.

The ends of your hair are obviously the oldest. That means that the ends could be split for any number of reasons. We want to cut off those split ends before they travel up the hair shaft. There is no product on the market that will permanently mend split ends, so they have to come off. Grit your teeth and have it done. Your hair will thank you.

The next time you go to the mall, do a little people watching... especially the women/girls with long hair. Does it look as healthy as Laura's?
