Flowerchild

With a little work beforehand, you should be able to pull this costume together in no time at all.

Costume

  • White blouse or if you can get your hands on one... a tie dye t-shirt.

  • Jeans... during the seventies, everyone lived in jeans.

  • Fringe vest. This item might take you a little while to find, so start now. A Goodwill store might be your best bet.

  • You could copy the photo above and opt for a Peace Sign around your neck. Beaded necklaces were also very popular.

  • Boots or sandals depending on the weather conditions.

Makeup

You will find complete makeup instructions for creating your "Flowerchild Face" at the link below.

Hair

Hair was long and straight... for both sexes. If you can't quite pull it off, there are lots of wigs out during the Halloween season. You can cut it to the length you want... to the waist for girls and halfway down your back for guys and don't forget the headband.
