Month Two!!

Computer Beauty Tips (We recommmend that you consult your own physician regarding specific problems. These answers are for general informational purposes only.)

Hi there and welcome again to Computer Beauty Tips. Hope the last tip has been of help to you.

A reader asks "where should I locate my monitor so that my eyes stay healthy and comfortable?"

Dr. Don says "the height of your monitor is related to eye position. The top of the screen should be at or below eye level. The display should be located so that eye level falls in the upper half of the display. To be comfortable, a good standard is to have the line of site 10 degrees or more below the horizontal. Then, you should be comfortable reading both the top and bottom of your screen.

Since tilt of your screen affects glare, only a little tilt is recommended."
