Hi there, This month I thought that I would talk about nails. They can either look great or look absolutely horrible. Here are some of my favorite tips on how you can keep your nails looking great. *Emery Boards Time to Stock Up

Never run out of emery boards. In fact, you should have emery boards in every room of the house and in your purse as well. One little snag and if you don't have an emery board, that nail goes straight into your mouth. Before you know it, you have just chewed off the nail.

*Right Shape For Your Nails

There are lots of different shapes to choose from and I can't really tell you what is going to look right on you. Try an elongated oval if you have delicate hands. If you don't long that shape, simply try something else. It's your call.

*Saving The Nails

Never use your nails as a tool. I know that you probably can't think of one thing you use your nails for, but trust me, you use them more often than you probably realize. It's a really bad habit.

*Removing Polish

Believe it or not, I find that sparkly polishes seem to wear off without even having to use a polish remover. That seems like a good idea as all those chemicals can't be good for your nails. If you do love polishes, use removers as little as possible if you want your nails to stay in good condition.

*Slowing Down

Lucky for us, the nails of a teen grow with very little effort on our part. But, you have to remember to keep them out of your mouth. It's that simple. The bad news is that as we get older, our nails won't be as co-operative.
