Hair Gel (Make Your Own)

IN case you haven't noticed, the price of hair products keep climbing and climbing. Wouldn't it be nice if you could make some of it yourself? Well, apparently you can and quite easily.

Head off to the supermarket and buy a box of plain gelatin. No, I'm not talking about the flavored kind, but maybe that is worth thinking about too, but for this recipe, you are looking for sachets of unflavored gelatin. Mix 1 tsp. of the unflavored gelatin into a cup of warm water and pour it into a clean jar. Move this to the refrigerator and allow to thicken. When you need a little gel for your hair, head for the kitchen. No one will be able to tell the difference.
