Top Picks for a Blue Christmas

After years of buying gifts for the people on my list, finding something interesting is getting harder and harder... so how about a themed Christmas! All the gifts this year will be in a shade of blue, and it's not as hard as you might think. Start off with a gift basket and start filling it. I have included an assortment of products that are all... you guessed it... blue!

Ellen Tracy Imagine (Fragrance)
With rose scented fragrances being so popular today, Ellen Tracy decided to combine the sophistication of Magnolia, Violet, and Ylang Ylang with touches of Rose, Cyclamen and Muguet. For winter warmth, she has added touches of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk.

Blu Man Crew
An icy blue pomade for your hair, especially if it is ultra fine. Adds lots of volume and tons of shine. It's water soluble and with one shampoo it's gone. (This is a man's product, but I never let that stop me.)

Davidoff Blue Water (Fragrance)
This scent would be perfect for that sports loving woman on your list. It is a combination of florals, citrus and woody notes. *A note of interest... did you know that the Davidoff company also makes cigars! Don't ask me what the connection is...

Sky High Curves by Maybelline
Don't you love it when cosmetic companies play along. Maybelline is offering a great mascara... in a blue tube.

L'Oreal Hydra Fresh Body Spray
The trick is to seal in the moisture so when you step out of the shower, be sure to leave you skin damp before spraying on this body spray. A great way to start your morning.

Liquid Eyes by Maybelline
A long wearing liquid shadow that turns to powder and lasts up to 8 hours. If that isn't enough, the powder has lots of shimmer that shouts "look at me", but in a subtle way. And yes, it comes in blue.

Frownies
Okay, they aren't blue, but neither will the recipient when those frown lines start to disappear. So how do they work? According to the company, small patches of skin friendly material is applied to the forehead, corners of the eyes or corners of the mouth to re-educate the underlying muscles.

*A little history... Frownies were first created in 1889 after Margaret Kroesen discovered that she had developed unsightly wrinkles and frown lines and obviously didn't like them one bit! She named her invention Wrinkle Eradicators and 5 generations later, some high profile names in the movie business still swears by them... *If you would like more information on this company, you will find a link to the company above.

Ralph Lauren Blue (Fragrance)
Close your eyes, think citrusy on a lush Caribbean beach with the palm trees gently swaying in the breeze.
