Hyde... Free and Easy

Amazing Hair...

Hyde has gorgeous hair and I asked Jamie to give us some tips on how to work with the curl that we have. Here's what he had to say...

Learn to use accessories as Hyde has in this photo. A spash of color perks up her curls in an amazing way! What could be better for a hot summer day!

If you have run out of gel, a spray gel will do the same job! Just be sure to use a light hand.

After creating all of your curls, be sure to break them up by gently running your fingers through. It gives a much more natural look.

The curlier you hair, the more layers you should have.

If you are looking for something just a little messy, apply a curl enhansing gel to damp hair and then scrunch. But don't stop there. Tease the curls and if you still aren't satisfied, add a bit of volume by using a curling iron. If you have bangs and want to loosen them, coat your fingers with gel and then draw them into place.

If you have a problem with frizz, consider how often your fingers find their way into your hair. You will probably be amazed at how often you run your fingers through your hair without thinking. So first things first, keep the hands away. What your fingers are doing is ruffling up the cuticle and that is a bad thing!

What Is Molding Wax?

Think of it as a product that is thicker in texture that an gel and with major holding power. Its pretty much the last product you will use after styling your hair. Here's one example of how you can use it. Take some of the wax in your fingers and then draw through a long strand of hair. Wrap around your fingers for a few moments and then gently remove yor finger. A chunky sections should hold the curl separate from the rest of your hair.
