Q. Does the over-stretched skin hurt?

A.

While you would expect that skin that has stretched beyond breaking point would be extremely painful, there is very little discomfort with this condition.

I will admit however that you might experience a bad case of itchy skin as the stretch marks are developing. This is often because the skin is overly dry, so a good lotion should take care of the problem.

There are some instances when the itch may be very difficult to ignore, but consider the damage you may cause if you scratch with a little too much fervor. Remember those mosquito bites that you scratched to such an extreme that you still have the scars? Keep lots of lotion handy and if one doesn't work, try a different brand.
