Q. What is the difference between water based and oil free products?

A.

The difference in a nut shell that oil free is just that. The product contains no oil. Water-based contains mostly water, but it can contain a small amount of oil.

If your skin is dry to normal, using water-based won't affect your skin, but if your skin is oily and acne prone, choose oil free.
