Oil of Olay Age Defying Series Cleanser

What You Should Know

Age defying... that should alert you to what this product is all about. Supposedly, it is a cleanser that is designed to help women with maturing skin. Okay, my skin is on it's way, I will give it a try. Here's what I think of it.

The first thing that I noticed about this cleanser was that it contained Beta Hydroxy Acid which differed from most cleansers promoting Alpha Hydroxy Acid or (AHA). My skin is rather sensitive so I was curious to see what it could do. *Just in case you aren't aware of this fact, BHA considered to be far more gentle than AHA.

I have been using this product for a couple of months now and I like the way it makes my skin look and feel. There is no tightness what-so-ever. My skin is far softer and smoother than before. I can even get away without wearing foundation when I go out. I like this product.

But there is an added bonus that I didn't expect. This product also works on teenaged skin. During our Christmas holidays, my son accidently forgot all of his prescribed medication and cleansers for his severe acne. I loaned him my "Oil of Olay Daily Renewal Cleanser" and hoped for the best.

To our amazement, his newly erupted blemishes started to clear up. By the end of our holidays, his skin looked just as clear as it had while taking medication and using his cleansers. Needless to say, he will not be refilling his prescription. He is still watching what he eats... yes, that does make a difference, but the "Oil of Olay Age Defying Cleanser" is all that he is using now to combat his skin problems.
