For this style you will need:

-a covered band
-hair pins (thin bendable ones... not bobby pins or grips)
-curling iron
-styling product to protect your hair from intense heat
-hair spray

1. Set your hair your hair using bendable rollers. They will give the soft bouncy curl that you need for this style. When dry, ease out carefully so not to disturb the curl any more than necessary.

2. Pull hair up into a loose ponytail on the crown of the head and secure with a covered band.

3. Choose one curl and wrap it around the hairband so that it disappears from view. Use hairpins to hold the hair in place.

4. Loosen curls so that they fall gently from the ponytail. Pulling your fingers through them should be sufficient. You might want to re-wrap some of the curls around your finger for a smoother look.

5. Apply a tiny bit of a styling product to your bangs and then using curling iron with narrow barrel, curl them into loose spirals. A few seconds should do it. Loosen curl with fingers.

6. If the crown is too structured, loosen it with the help of a chopstick You can loosen the strands as much or as little as you want.
