One of the hardest part of calorie watching are all the foods that you are suddenly expected to give up. But, why should you? If you ask me, that is just asking for failure. Instead, find alternatives and one just might be this Italian biscuit.

If you love to enjoy a cup of coffee and a cookie for dessert, the cookie is probably the one that is going to get you into trouble, calorie wise. However, a biscotti is often lower in fat and calories than most varieties. A word of caution however... pass over the ones that are frosted and one biscotti should be large enough to break into 2 pieces for sharing or saving. Remember, the plainer the biscotti, the better.
