The Bottom Line

This soap has so many uses... can be used on the body, the face, as a shampoo, or pop it into your lingerie drawer.

Pros
  • richly scented with rosemary oil
  • label contains a listing of all ingredients
  • each bar had a distinct fragrance all of its own.
Cons
  • There simply isn't a con that I could find.

Description

  • Soap packaged in 5 oz. sizes. Nice size for the shower or the bath.
  • Richly scented, in fact the bar scented my entire bathroom.
  • Although it doesn't smell like chocolate, the bar looks just like a thick bar of milk chocolate!
  • Each soap bar contains at least one native Texas plant.

Guide Review - Prickly Pear Soap by A Wild Texas Soapbar

Fragrance means a lot to me. If the scent doesn't appeal to me, that is the first strike against the product. Not so with this soap. I found myself inhaling the scent straight from the bar and I relaxed in the tub. I guess rosemary essential oil does that to me. But what is even more important is how my skin felt... not dried out what-so-ever when the bath was over. I did a little exploring the website of this soap and apparently it has something to do with the way it was formulated. I was also impressed to learn that the site went on to tell you how to make the soap last and last. Can you tell that I was impressed!
