Best Hair Care Tip: Use a good restructuring conditioner to repair damage from color, perms and heat damage due to curling irons/hair dryers.

Hair Horror Stories: The summer I decided to go blonde. I had to bleach out my dark roots every 2-3 weeks, which frizzed out the ends and absolutely ruined my hair. I finished the summer with a permanent auburn which wouldn't require frequent coloring. I'm living with a pixie style now, waiting for the hair to grow out a little, and depending on a good hair gel for style. Fortunately, my daughter felt I would benefit from a "younger" style and ran to my rescue. Actually, I am very pleased with the look.

Hairstyle Changes on the Horizon: I've stuck with shorter styles since I was sixteen when I had my waist-long hair cut. Now at the age of 45 with a full-time job and family, the shorter cuts fit my busy lifestyle a lot better.
